D2JSP Resurrected ("the Extension") is a browser extension for Google Chrome that enhances your experience on forums.d2jsp.org. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. All data the Extension stores stays entirely on your device.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to save the following on your device only:

• IDs of forum topics you have chosen to hide
• Your extension preferences (e.g. notification settings, quiet hours)
• Your unread message count as last seen on d2jsp
• A fingerprint of recently seen notification links (used only to detect new activity)

This data never leaves your browser and is never sent anywhere.

Network Requests

The Extension periodically fetches pages on forums.d2jsp.org using your existing browser session (the same cookies your browser already has) to check for new private messages and notifications. This is equivalent to you visiting the site yourself. No data from these requests is forwarded to the developer or any external server.

Permissions Used

• storage — saves your preferences and hidden topics locally
• alarms — runs periodic background checks for new messages
• tabs — opens your d2jsp inbox when you click a notification
• notifications — displays desktop alerts for new messages
• host permissions (d2jsp.org) — reads d2jsp pages to detect new activity

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party services.

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
